INTRODUCTION

I am a graphic design major and an animation concentrator here at MICA, graduating this May, meaning it’s THESIS TIME! This whole semester I will be bogged down and busy with two different thesis projects: my REAL thesis in graphic design and my “mini” thesis in animation.

What exactly will I doing here on this blog?

  1. Force myself to keep on top of my thesis and try to post something presentable on a weekly basis.
  2. Use this blog to kind of digitally catalog my process.
  3. Give you guys a sneak peak on what I’ll be working on alllllll semester long.

My graphic design thesis is going to be a series of motion graphics shorts of kinetic typography illustrating a mini-narrative of sorts. What exactly the subject matter is, is TBA.

My animation thesis is going to be a 2D short about a spelling bee.
