Working on the coloring - here’s a wide shot of the stage (probably the widest shot I’ll have). I think I’ll go with this vector style for the background, but keep my handdrawn, minimally colored flat look in the characters. Hope the vector backgrounds will help make it easier to animate in AfterEffects.
